"I am the daughter of a serial crafter. I grew up taking naps under my Mom's table at craft shows. She has always been a creative and awesome inspiration to me. My Dad is an author and he to shared some creative genes, although I don't think I could write ten pages of a book worth reading. I "only" have a high school education, but I never have let that be an excuse not to succeed. Luckily art is something that you're really born with and while you do need to consistently "study"; one can do that outside of the classroom as well as in it. I still want to take formal art classes, as I do believe they can only improve my skills. I am always growing, looking for inspiration and motivation. My business, Homeberries.com, is always changing and refining. I love to try out new things and eventually hope to find the perfect formula for my bliss. I love to ask questions, and believe that everyone around me has some kind of knowledge that will help me grow in some way... even if it's a really good brownie recipe, lol! I am a member
the Bliss Guild not only to meet other business owners, but to share in
the delight when one of my sisters has done well. We cheer for each other
and support one another...our talents are blended like popcorn and butter.
OK, I confess that was from the book I just read my little guy at bedtime
(Let's Share by P.K. Hallinan), but it really does apply to the
Bliss Guild sisterhood." |
